Welcome to New Creation Church, located in Sandy, Utah

NCC Small Groups

The purpose of small groups is to support, promote and enhance the vision of New Creation Church: Connecting with God — Growing Together — Reflecting His Goodness”. The groups are designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment aside from the regular Sunday church service, where members and non-members alike can come together to CONNECT with God and with one another. Attendees GROW together through prayer, shared testimonies, worship, teaching and building friendships. Reflecting God’s goodness into the lives of those around us is the desired result of attending a small group.

Each group meets every other week, on various days, and offers lessons from trusted teachers whom New Creation Church has connections with. These include: John & Lisa Bevere; Joel Osteen/Lakewood Church, in Houston, TX; Bill Johnson/Bethel Church, in Redding, CA; Jimmy & Karen Evans/Gateway Church, in Southlake, TX; Robert Morris/Gateway Church, in Southlake, TX; Danny Silk/Bethel Church, in Redding, CA; and more.

Sandy Small Group: "God is Good—He’s Better Than You Think” by Bill Johnson

God is better than we think, so it’s time to change the way we think about Him. “God is Good” is more than a positive thought, theological concept of Biblical statement---what you do with these three words defines your reality and determines your destiny.

In a world of fear, disease, crisis, torment, uncertainty and hopelessness, what you believe about God’s goodness reveals how you will respond ot the trials and circumstances of everyday life. Your view of God impacts everything!

Bill Johnson presents a new groundbreaking series that calls believers to build their lives on one unshakeable foundation: the assurance that God is good.

Learn how to:

Clearly discern the difference between the will of God and the enemy’s plans.
Confidently pray for breakthrough, believe for miracles, and have faith for God to move, no matter what comes against you.
Find rest in God’s unchanging character and embrace the value of mystery…even when prayers aren’t immediately answered.
Discover God’s goodness in both Old and New Testaments.
Encounter Jesus Christ as perfect theology—the One Who reveals a good Father.
Partner with Heaven to release supernatural solutions to a world in chaos.
Build your life on the solid foundation of God’s goodness and experience new realms of supernatural thinking that bring Heaven to Earth, changing the atmosphere around you!

Millcreek Small Group: "The God I Never Knew", by Robert Morris

This study teaches about who the Holy Spirit is and exactly what He does. Many people find the Holy Spirit mysterious and confounding. Why is the third person in the Godhead—the one Jesus said would be the believer’s ultimate source of truth and comfort—the source of such confusion?

In “The God I Never Knew”, Robert Morris clearly explains that the Holy Sprit’s chief desire is for relationship—to offer us the encouragement and guidance of a trusted friend. This insightful and biblically-based book moves beyond theological jargon, religious tradition, and cultural misconceptions to clarify what the Holy Spirit promise to do in your life:

Dwell within you
Guide you into all truth
Pray for you
Never leave you
Be your helper
Comfort you
Show you things to come

It’s time to experience the Holy Spirit in a fresh, new way—to meet the God you may have never known.

Taylorsville Small Group: "The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind” by Bill Johnson

You can live a supernatural life. In fact, moving in the spiritual realm should be as routine as prayer, worship and reading Scripture. It is part of what Jesus purchased for us on the Cross! Healing, deliverance and signs-and-wonders are an inheritance for all followers of Jesus Christ. “The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind” teaches you how to remove the blinders of religious limitation to see your own life changed, the lost redeemed and communities transformed. You too can move from an intellectual faith and tap into an abundance of miracle-working authority, unleashing the power of God's glory.

In “The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind”, Pastor Bill Johnson delivers powerful and practical teaching, revealing how you were designed to bring heaven to Earth and how it all starts with your thought life. When your mind is transformed, heaven becomes more than a place you go to one day – it becomes the supernatural power that you release wherever you go today!

West Jordan Small Group: "The God I Never Knew", by Robert Morris (same as Millcreek group)

Kearns Small Group: "One Extraordinary Marriage", by Tony and Alisa DiLorenzo

“One Extraordinary Marriage” teaches interpersonal growth, and gives couples the tools they need to apply the Biblical principles that create a loving, and ultimately, a SELFLESS, SERVANT lover relationship. It teaches how to be transparent; through an environment of safety through a “divorce is off the table” approach. Three major strategies we have learned through them are: Communication using the State of Our Marriage Strategy, Adopting the Intimacy Lifestyle, and living our marriage from the top down: God first, Marriage second, Kids third, work and everything else after--all obtained through actionable strategies. Tony and Alisa DiLorenzo are born-again Christians who have overcome impossible situations for over 20 years as a couple. They have battled the storms and come out to be used by God to save thousands of failing marriages and have led many to the Cross.
